The IT help desk intern will work with the help desk team to solve technology issues, learn to use a ticketing system, and setup accounts and devices for new employees. 

Volunteer alongside of our Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and Direct Support Professionals to provide a variety of educational, recreational and leisure activities at SPIN Community and Fitness as well as in the Community for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.

Volunteer at SPIN'S Saturday Bowling program. The volunteer will assist adults with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities to bowl by prompting turns, helping to carry bowling balls, setting up ramps, encouraging socialization and relationship building.

Bowling league takes place at Thunderbird Lanes on Holme Ave. 10:45am to 12:45pm. Volunteers are needed to arrive at 10:30 am.

The Early Years Speech and Language Therapy service works with others to enable children to communicate and interact successfully in daily life. The focus is to improve functional language and communication skills and promote a child's ability to access educational tasks.

Intern alongside of our Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and Direct Support Professionals to provide a variety of educational, recreational and leisure activities at SPIN Community and Fitness as well as in the Community for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.

An Special Education Early Childhood Education student who attends a College/University and is in the last semester of their teacher preperation program. This individual and works in a classroom with a cooperative teacher developing lesson plans, planning developmentally appopriate activities and assessments. The experience will allow future educators to apply pedagogical theory to classroom practice, while under the supervisor of a teacher mentor.

An internship experience at SPIN affords students the opportunity to gain knowledge and practical experience while fulfilling a college course requirement. Internship experiences are available throughout the year within Children’s Services, Adult Services, Behavioral Health Clinical Services, Therapeutic Recreation, Human Resources, Information Services, Finance and more.

Immerse yourself in the inner workings of the organization by spending time in either a program or support department .  Your experience can be customized to meet the needs of the organization and the individual in the internship program. Please be advised that you will need to provide updated clearances, both criminal and child abuse. 

Level I Fieldwork provides students with a view of occupational therapy practice while still completing academic coursework. The goals of Level I Fieldwork are to introduce students to the fieldwork experience, to apply knowledge to practice, and to develop understanding of the needs of clients

An Early Childhood Physical Therapist student who is studying how to utilize physical therapy in a pediatric setting. This student works on skills that prevent or overcome the effects of disease or injury for the client.

Looking for Therapeutic Recreation students to volunteer with out Rite Aid Kids cents Super Kid program on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  Students will assist to facilitate recreation activities focused on health & wellness to our Kid cents scholarship winners.  Scholarship winners consist of children ages 4 to 16.

This internship opportunity is with our SPIN finance department. You will be asked to perform various tasks throughout the department. This will give you widespread experience in our departments such as payroll, client funds and the general ledger. You will be exposed to and gain experience in some of our accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics GP365 and Quickbooks. There were will be other organizational projects assigned to you as we continue to automate our systems.
